Student Affairs Workshop

The 6th Student Affairs Workshop will take place on Thursday, 29 November, from 19:00 to 22:00 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (where the conference is being held) in Ballroom West

Given the unique setting of the conference, and the international body of students and scientists that will be participating, the focus of the 6th Student Affairs Workshop will be on student engagement in local and international marine mammal research and conservation.

To this end, the Student Affairs Workshop will include a meal of local cuisine, a brief introduction, a keynote address by Dr. Bernd Würsig, and small group discussions facilitated by international professionals in a variety of disciplines.

The Student Affairs Workshop is free for current and prospective students.  There is not advanced registration for the Workshop, but you will be asked to sign in as you enter Ballroom West.
