In order to facilitate delegates applying for visas, the South African Department of Home Affairs has been informed of the conference taking place, and a blanket approval has been sent to all South African representatives abroad authorizing them to issue visas to delegates, provided nothing detrimental is known and all the visa requirements are met.

Yellow Fever immunisation is required if your journey starts or entails passing through the Yellow Fever belt of Africa or South America. You will need a valid Yellow Fever immunisation card when applying for a visa and upon entry into South Africa.

Visas are not issued at South African ports of entry: you need to apply for your visa at least four weeks prior to departure for South Africa.

Regardless of visa requirements, your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after your intended departure date from South Africa and you need to have at least two unused pages in your passport.
